Workshop Information: The human condition is context-dependent, that is, dependent on the wellbeing of the planet we live on. Environmental and social justice issues typically inhabit a socio-political sphere. People often feel overwhelmed by the task of facing super wicked problems given the challenge of what appears to be no solution. There are times when we lack the connection between values and the need to take immediate meaningful action. This workshop will explore climate change through an ACT lens, engaging strategies to overcome barriers to action. This workshop will use experiential exercises to inspire practitioners to apply CBS processes to the macro systems of our experience, empowering the process of living from the feet up in creating wellbeing in the larger context of earth, animals and humans.
