Our second SoCal Chapter Book Club selection for 2021 is So You Want to Talk About Race by Nigerian-American writer, Ijeoma Oluo. Ijeoma has written on topics such as racism, intersectionality, parenting, feminism, social justice, and more. Her book will serve as a great stepping stone for our third SoCal Chapter Book Club, which will focus on multiculturalism and cultural adaptation within therapeutic models. Our Book Club is scheduled to meet over 2 monthly zoom meetings on Monday, July 26th and Monday, August 30th from 7pm-8 pm. We are looking forward to having you join our Zoom Book Club exclusively offered to ACBS SoCal Chapter members! Please contact Natalia Baires at bairesnatalia@gmail.com to RSVP for this book club reading. Space is limited. ACT Book Club attendance qualifies for CA licensed Psychologist Professional Development CE's under BOP's new CPD Model (1-hour CE per meeting).
